Dm (Mx) is the solo alias of Dani Muñoz who’s a Mexican artist and also one half of The Soul Brothers duo. His latest release under the Dm (Mx) moniker is a tribal organic house track called “Nature” that’s out now via Happy Camper Records.This is the first time that Dm (Mx) has featured on Happy Camper Records, but his solo back catalogue already includes music released by Cafe De Anatolia and Lump Records, plus his own Talavera Records.“Nature” is a dramatic track that’s fuelled by flowing conga rhythms and other organic percussion sounds. There are lots of atmospheric sounds that give the track a shamanistic vibe and tropical influence.The release also features a selection of remix versions including a collaborative rework from Unders and Ape Chimba, plus one by The Soul Brothers duo that Dani Muñoz is half of.Unders is part of the team that runs Happy Camper Records and he is well-known as a leading organic house artist with releases on labels such as Sol Selectas and Katermukke. Ape Chimba is a Spanish artist based in Ibiza who is respected for his spellbinding and downtempo style. Their collaborative remix adds an ominous bass synth and vocal chants that give the track a ceremonial vibe.The Soul Brothers close out the release with an impressive remix that lightens the groove with looped percussion and creates a hypnotic version that brings out the original’s techy elements. They also switch to a rolling bassline that helps the percussion flow freely.
