Raised in London and now based in Manchester, Joey London Style is keeping things moving to open the year as he makes his first appearance on Hottrax with ‘Clurb’. Known for balancing hook-driven ideas with a raw and rugged edge, Joey’s recent run of releases on labels like Cuttin’ Headz, Metamorfosi, and his own Stylin Records has seen him ascend as a name to watch, and he builds on that again to open 2026 with an impressive double-hitting statement on Jones’ club-focused imprint.
Across the EP, Joey leans into contrast and control, with ‘Clurb’ pairing tension-heavy arrangements with punchy low-end movement and various vocals built to snap into focus at precisely the right moment. ‘Little Bitter’ rides a thicker groove with tightly wound percussion, playful sample usage, and late-night weight. Both tracks are designed to work fast in the mix without losing their character - two tools built for global dancefloors, now finding their home on Hottrax and ready for wider rotation.
Q: Please introduce yourself
Hey! I’m Joey, A DJ & Producer from London!
Q: One person you'd dream to have a coffee with?
Probably Seth Troxler because I would probably just be in stitches the whole time haha.
Q: If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
Ooo, probably to time travel, so I can go back and find out how the pyramids were made hahaha.
Q: If you would have been given the chance to do a film score, what movie would you choose and why?
It would probably be Project X so I could put my own song in each of the party scenes haha, or if im being profound I would probably do Interstellar as that movie takes my head off every time!
Q: Who has been the most influential in your music career? And why?
I mean there's got to be a few; Jamie Jones, Marco Carola, Martinez Bros, I mean all of their journeys are so interesting, just seeing what they’ve all done in their own fields and niches is super inspiring.
Q: Tell us about your journey, what got you to where you are today?
I mean sounds cliche but pretty much started with my first trip to Ibiza, I was actually on a brand trip (as a content creator) to Ibiza about 8 years ago and a friend took me to Paradise and I remember being on the dance floor thinking this is just crazy, and it was from then on I decided this is it, this is the only thing I want to be doing for the rest of my life, that's when the obsession began, so learned to DJ then production not long after. The rest is history.
Q: What’s one piece of advice you’d give to someone just starting out their career in music?
Find your sound, trust your sound and don’t follow trends!!
Q: Can you recall a DJ set or performance of yours that remains unforgettable to you? Where did it take place, and what makes it stand out among all others?
It's got to be my recent set at studio 338 in London, was a real special one for me, the set went down a treat and for the first time I played about 90% of my own music, and to top it off my parents flew over from Spain to watch!
Q: How has your music style evolved over the years?
I think the first few years were very much experimental, it’s only in the past couple of years I’ve really honed in on my sound and now I think it's got me to a good place where people are liking and recognizing everything I’m putting out there.
Q: If you were to venture into another music genre, which one would you choose and why?
It would be whatever genre you’d class Gorillaz, Daft Punk & Black Eyed Peas are haha.
Q: Could you name 3 tracks that got you into electronic music and why?
1- Fedde Le Grand - Let Me Think About It
2- Duke Dumont - Ocean Drive
3- MK - Burning
All of these songs I remember listening to when I was younger and thinking these songs really make me feel something.
Q: Can you recommend a hidden gem in your home country that would be perfect for a rave?
Oo I mean there’s so many, I always said I’d love to put on a party in my girlfriend's art studio haha.
Q: Could you tell us about your upcoming releases and plans for the year?
Well starting the year off very strong with my biggest release to date on HOTTRAX, super happy and proud of this one, can't wait to get this one out.
I then have a 3 track EP coming out on my own label in Feb which has got some crazy support throughout summer as well as one on Libero which is gonna be sick and we’ve got some really nice remixes on that release!
Q: Can you share a fun fact about yourself that most of your listeners are probably unaware of?
Urmmmm I had a chunk of the back of my head taken out of by my surfboard when I was 10 loool.
