14 FAKTS INTERVIEW WITHPEREDEL

09/10/2025

Peredel, based in Ibiza, is a rare talent in today’s music scene. Before pursuing music, he spent his early years as a professional hockey player. However, after a devastating knee injury ended his athletic career, Peredel turned to his lifelong passion — music.

Often described as a musical chameleon, Peredel seamlessly moves between genres — from deep house to melodic techno, from indie dance to progressive — all while maintaining his unmistakable signature sound. His versatility allows him to adapt effortlessly to any venue or crowd, whether it’s a massive techno rave or an intimate, soulful afterparty.

Since beginning his musical journey in 2014, Peredel has earned widespread recognition for his exceptional DJ sets and refined selection skills.

Q: Please introduce yourself

Hi, Im Nikita, artist name “Peredel”.

Q: One person you'd dream to have a coffee with?

I'd pick to sit down with the duo Daft Punk and get them to dive into their music production process.

Q: If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?

A time-traveling teleport. To zoom around the world and times.

Q: If you would have been given the chance to do a film score, what movie would you choose and why?

I would choose “Point Break” with Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze. Being a fan of the film and both actors, I also love music from the 80s and 90s. When possible, I introduce those motifs and musical inspirations in my productions and DJ sets. The “Matrix” would also be one of my choices, and interesting challenge for me musically.

Q: Who has been the most influential in your music career? And why?

It is definitely Solomun. I have been following his sound, attending many of his performances over the years and his music has always been my favourite, close to my spirit.

Q: Tell us about your journey, what got you to where you are today?

I'm still on a continuous journey… and I’m looking forward to every moment to come.

Q: What’s one piece of advice you’d give to someone just starting out their career in music?

To work for the love of music and try to find your own sound.

Q: Can you recall a DJ set or performance of yours that remains unforgettable to you? Where did it take place, and what makes it stand out among all others?

There were a lot of memorable ones, but of the most was an afterparty in caprices festival in Switzerland. It was in a chalet where I played for around 12 hours. The atmosphere, the people, it was kind of magical, really crazy one! Still one of most memorable.

Q: How has your music style evolved over the years?

I'd say it changes every year. As the music is changing very rapidly these days, the trends change pretty fast, as well as the level of production of different artists is progressing greatly. I think it's important to evolve, but still preserve your own style.

Q: If you were to venture into another music genre, which one would you choose and why?

I'm a music lover, I can listen to a variety of genres, singling out just one would not be fair!

Q: Could you name 3 tracks that got you into electronic music and why?

1- Serge Devant “Fearing Love”

2- Swedish house mafia “Leave the World Behind"

3- David August remix “Chronicles"

Q: Can you recommend a hidden gem in your home country that would be perfect for a rave?

Moscow is my home town and I could say it is “Supermetall” as an outside summer rave space and Adrenaline stadium as indoor one.

Q: Could you tell us about your upcoming releases and plans for the year?

We have worked very hard with my team for the past year to launch our record label, NELEVEN, which is the evolution of the sound from the ELEVEN events I host along with many exciting artists. The first release is out October 10th, my single titled “Nineties”, which will be followed by a number of exciting releases and collaborations to come!

Q: Can you share a fun fact about yourself that most of your listeners are probably unaware of?

I played under number 11, as a professional hockey player in the past…
