A place where you face your own fears to avoid being succumbed to the falsities of the world. “Deception” transports you deeper towards your awareness and realization of deceit, yet spreading your wings, ready to take flight. The journey towards freedom begins with the following tracks - “Awaken the Soul” featuring Photographs., “Jannah” featuring Rebecca Sumner and “The Sparrow” featuring Mistier. An enchanting field of vocals, gradually delivering an electrifying feeling that increases from one song to another. “Silhouettes” featuring Violin Girl, uplifts your mind and soul. “New Day” featuring Mistier and “Utopia” featuring Terry Grant guides the way to enlightenment. “Imagine To Be Free”, the nonvocal track, leaves you the choice to interpret and feel. “Shapeshifter”, a melodic and delicate track that serves as a passage to the final track, “Epiphany”. A sudden revelation of becoming free comes to surface, ending the voyage and expressing the meaning of freedom.

We had a chat with Christian ahead of his Album Release. Here's what he has to say

Q: After giving the album a listen, we noticed that it's a bit different from your usual releases, what was your purpose behind this album?

It’s still my sound and I think it’s very recognizable. The only difference is that I didn’t focus on the tracks being dance floor bangers or something that will climb charts. I focused on the concept of the album and made what naturally came out of me. There are many tracks in the album that I would never release as a single or an EP, but are perfect for an album. I wanted to make something that reflects my inner musical taste.

Q: What was your production process behind Silhouettes feat. the violin girl?

I produced the first version of this track a while ago, then one day my friend, Violin Girl, came from the US to Berlin and visited my studio. She listened to the track once and all of sudden she played the violin on top of the track and asked me to record it. I was shocked because she didn’t need to listen to it multiple times as what usually happens. She recorded one take and that’s it. I was amazed by her quick approach and of course fascinated by what she created. I kept this track safe for almost a year. I thought it was quite special so I saved it for the album.

Q: What's your personal favorite track of this Album?

Hard question. I am connected with all of them in different ways. Every track has a special meaning and has a connection of a specific part of my life, so it’s very difficult to answer your question. Plus, when you’ve been listening to the same tracks for months like I have with this album, you lose objectivity. I can tell you anyway that I am very connected with Deception. I think it’s the most emotional track and it works really well on the dancefloor.

Q: Do you have any questions for your supporters ahead of your album release?

Yes, I would like to invite them to read the lyrics of the track “Imagine To Be Free”, which is the concept of the album. I’m curious as to know what they think about my vision of freedom and if they like the idea of having a concept behind an album instead of just a compilation of tracks.
