Hi, my name is Ranieri, I'm 26 years old and today I live in the city of Curitiba in Brazil. I run my own record label, Prototype, where we focus on Techno & Melodic Techno releases, besides being co-founder of Alataj, one of the major news media of underground electronic music in Brazil.
Q: How would you describe the Brazilian scene in your point of view?
I believe that Brazilian scene has a lot to grow, but my concern is that music of any genre is not something cultural in Brazil, basically we have not rooted this kind of culture and that makes it a little more difficult to grow in the right way, by listening and not by commercials or alike.
Q: What was your all-time favorite show from the past? And why?
I still haven't had the opportunity, I only had a gig this year that was a B2B set with my friend Colussi, where Innure was born, my other project. Although, I can say that it was a special and remarkable night.
Q: Recommend a hidden gem in Brazil that you've always wanted to throw a rave in
This one is easy. I think it would be a dream coming true to throw an airport rave, in the middle of the runway (safely, of course).
Q:What's the Purpose/Message behind the sound you play and produce?
Music that brings the energy people expect at the moment.
Q: One person you'd dream to have a coffee with?
One of the artists I would like to know in person is VNTM, I'm his fan and I believe he would be a nice person to have a coffee with.
Q: If you were to have a super power, what would it be and why?
I wish I could teleport, so I could go anywhere in the world.
Q: If you had the chance of doing a film score from the past, what movie would you choose and why?
Titanic, its story is quite good and a milestone in history.
Q: If you weren't a DJ and Music Producer right now what would you be pursuing instead?
My second passion is programming - which actually is part of my life.
Q: Fun fact about yourself that most of your listeners don't know
Well, this is difficult, I was always a bit neutral, but I think a curiosity is that I have a 4 year old son.
Q: Tell us about your upcoming plan and releases for this year
I'm preparing to release a Free Download track as a year-end gift.
Q: Do you have any questions you would like to ask our readers?
How is the Beirut scene? I have never been there, but I really like what I see.
