Ramiro Rossotti dazzles with a beautiful melodic house release that has some Afro house influence and an intense remix by Capoon. All four of the original tracks have mid-tempo grooves that layer compelling synths with organic drums sounds. The title track, “Get Lost,” also has an emotive vocal that compliments cascading melodies. This release comes from the trueColors record label, which is working with Ramiro Rossotti for the first time. Hailing from Argentina, Ramiro Rossotti is well known within the Buenos Aires’ underground scene where he has played on the same DJ line-ups as people such as Black Coffee, Guy Gerber, and Art Department. On remix duty, Capoon is a producer from Antwerp in Belgium, and he provides an Afro house remix of the EP’s title track. The remix is in a style similar to what he has released through other record labels such as Moblack Records.“Nedu” has chugging bass stabs and sun-drenched pads, its deep atmosphere and juddering bassline give it a unique sound with funky undertones. “Get Lost (feat. Miki Vos)” is all about a trans-dimensional vocal that gives the track a cosmic vibe. Capoon’s remix of “Get Lost (feat. Miki Vos)” removes the original’s arpeggio bassline, and works in eerie pads and some new percussion, which darkens the mood, while keeping the original’s vocal as a focal point. “Mysterious Voice” is an uplifting track that has stuttered vocals and majestic pads combining with shuffling percussion. “Dombra” is a percussive track with Afro rhythms, and its whirling synth line has acid undertones. “Three Suns” is last of the originals, and it’s got a stripped-back sound with floaty pads and fluttering piano melodies creating a majestic groove.
