Gharam Electric, an innovative project hailing from Beirut, Lebanon, founded by Wassim Bou Malham, a prominent figure in the Lebanese indie scene known for his involvement with Who Killed Bruce Lee and as a co-founder of “Factory People,” the entity behind two iconic clubs in the Middle Eastern scene. Gharam Electric represents a departure from traditional Arabic music, embracing a contemporary, authentic, and futuristic sound that appeals to diverse audiences. With a fusion of funk, jazz, electronic, hip-hop, and R&B, combined with emotive Arabic lyrics, Gharam Electric's debut album redefines the genre while maintaining its cultural roots.

"Ya Boy," an EP by Gharam Electric, signifies a pivotal moment in Arabic music, showcasing a decade of artistic progression by merging Arabic music with contemporary club rhythms. Featuring remixes by El Waili, Vinyl Mode, Rolbac and Yet More, the EP boldly presents a fresh perspective on the fusion of Arabic and club music, poised to resonate both locally and internationally, already gaining recognition in sets by renowned DJs Âme and Dixon.
