Helllooo I’m Third Son and I’m a human
Q: Favorite Club/Venue and why does it stand out from the rest?
I played Razzmatazz Barcelona last year and it was amazing. Sound system, crowd, the whole caboodle.
Q: Analog or Digital? And why?
I use both. Analogue can be undeniably rich and fun to use, but digital can be a lot more practical.
Q: What was the driving force that got you into DJing/Producing and when?
I’d been in music for a long time before uni, but when I started making club music for a night I founded with a few friends, that’s when I got hooked on producing beats.
Q: If you were to have a superpower, what would it be and why?
Be able to express delicious arabica coffee from my nipples.
Q: If you had to play 1 more track at your favorite club, what track would it be and why?
John Paul Young - Love is in the Air
Q: What’s your biggest fear while performing?
Looking down and all my clothes are evaporating in the heat of the beaming lights.
Q: 1 person you’d dream to have a coffee with?
Q: If you would have been given the chance to do a film score from the past, what movie would you choose and why?
Being John Malkovich. It’s one of my favourite movies and at the risk of sounding like a twat, I think I could do a good job.
Q: Recommend a hidden gem in your home country that would fit a perfect rave?
Hackney beach, it’s a very strange but fun place.
Q: 3 Tracks that got you into electronic music
Radiohead - Idioteque
Flying Lotus - Los Angeles (album)
Franky Knuckles - your love
Q: Tell us about your upcoming releases and plans for this year.
Aside from impending doom, I do have some very cool remixes to come following my recent 20 Days album. I also have another EP on 17 Steps which I’m looking forward to.
Q: Tell us a fun fact about yourself that most of your listeners don’t know.
I have a Masters in Chemistry
